Nine months after launching his own channel, Boomin now claims to have the number one real estate platform on YouTube.
Launched as part of its wider digital strategy to try to lead the way in the social space, the real estate YouTube channel, which launched in June last year, aims to attract more people to the real estate market – via the Boomin website.
YouTube channel Boomin Property currently features a range of created videos which includes British YouTube star WillNE, who has had over a billion views on his channels and over 4.4 million subscribers, as he leaves shopping at a mansion with his girlfriend Mia.
Boomin tries to harness the power of influencers and celebrities, like WillNe, who has 4.6 million followers, and Behzinga, who has 4.7 million followers.
The episode of ‘Inside Behzinga’s New Dream House’ trended on YouTube, surpassing 1.5 views, matching the latest installment of hugely popular Kirstie & Phil’s Love It or List It.
Many other shows including “At Home with Yiannimize” and “AJ & Sharkey Look For A New Beta Squad Mansion” were also big draws as the channel continues to grow in popularity, having gained over 26,000 subscribers, what Boomin is keen to highlight is “more than double the subscribers of all other real estate portals combined”.
Phil Lloyd, CMO of Boomin, said: “We are a nation obsessed with real estate, but so far real estate social networks have failed to deliver appropriate content to feed our addiction. People are looking for something new and fresh; they want to see the UK’s most exciting and breathtaking properties featured by the most influential people that matter to them, online.
“The majority of our subscribers are owners. We engage a broad audience of real estate-loving consumers in new and compelling ways, with the ultimate goal of bringing more people into the market.
” This is just the beginning. We have huge ambitions to become the most entertaining real estate brand online, building a loyal subscriber base and helping agents connect with those audiences.
