BTS has not just one but 11 music videos with 600 million views on YouTube!
Global K-Pop septet BTS set a new record on the YouTube platform with their English single “Butter.”
Just recently, BTS’s “Butter” music video hit the 600 million mark on YouTube. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have hit the milestone in just five months and 11 days since its worldwide release on May 21 at 1 p.m. KST.
The music video for “Butter” is full of things to see, group dances that show tight breathing among the members, unit choreography focusing on cool charm, and each member’s unique solo dance in the background of the lift.
11th MV to crush 600 million views
Additionally, “Butter” officially became BTS’s 11th music video to surpass 600 million views. Other septet tracks that had also achieved the feat were “DNA”, “Fire”, “Dope”, “Fake Love”, “Mic Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)”, “Blood Sweat & Tears”, “IDOL, “Boy With Luv”, “Save Me” and “Dynamite”.
Meanwhile, “Butter” has won some incredible accolades this year. After debuting at number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart on June 5, the song topped the chart for 10 weeks through September. The music video also recently won Best Group Video at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards Japan.
