BTS unlocks another online record!
The worldwide phenomenal boy group BTS has taken another step on the YouTube platform with their music video “Life Goes On”.
On November 3, the boy band’s music video for their beloved track “Life Goes On” officially hit the 400 million mark on YouTube. The septet managed to achieve the record in just under a year. Specifically, they hit the massive view count in about 11 months and 14 days..
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook released the track as a gift to fans on November 20, 2020, as part of their self-directed mini album TO BE. The boys hope the song will bring comfort to those going through a difficult time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
BTS’s 15th MV with 400 million views
“Life Goes On” has officially become BTS’s 15th music video to surpass 400 million views.
The group’s other music videos that also won the impressive record were ‘Dope’, ‘Spring Day’, ‘Not Today’, ‘Blood Sweat & Tears’, ‘MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)’, ‘Fake Love’, ‘ Save Me”, “IDOL”, “DNA”, “Boy With Luv”, “Boy In Luv”, “Fire”, “Dynamite” and “ON (Kinetic Manifesto Film: Coma Prima)”.
Moreover, the track has won various feats in the global music scene. Shortly after its release, it topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in at least 90 regions around the world. Additionally, it topped Billboard’s Hot 100 and Global 200 charts.
