The 19-year-old has had a phenomenal year, with her online following growing massively across multiple platforms.
Earlier this year, she reached one million followers on the video-sharing social network, Tik Tok.
A video last year, which referenced Covid 19 and the lockdown, saw it reach over 17.1 million views alone.
Emma has always wanted to increase subscribers on her Youtube channel and found it “took off” when the platform introduced “Youtube Shorts”, a feature for creating short videos.
She told the Journal, “Growing subscribers on Youtube is tough compared to Tik Tok, but it’s something I’ve been working on. When Youtube Shorts was introduced, I uploaded all my videos there and that’s when it took off for me.
Emma found that those who watched her short videos also watched the longer content she uploaded, which attracted even more subscribers. She was “thrilled” to have recently hit 100,000 subscribers, earning her a silver “Creator Award.”
Emma is also very excited to sign a two-year contract with record label Ostereo in Manchester and will be traveling around the city regularly.
Emma was also chosen as one of 125 finalists from thousands of entries for music maestro Louis Walsh’s new musical project. However, she was unfortunately unable to attend the final audition due to signing her recording contract.
But, after a massively successful 2021, Emma is really looking forward to what the future will bring.
“It’s been a crazy year for me, but very exciting. I can’t believe half of everything that’s happened, but it’s amazing.
