(G)I-DLE’s ‘TOMBOY’ surpasses 100 million views on YouTube

Congratulations, HYBE Hats off to (G)I-DLE for their new personal record on the YouTube platform!

Charismatic girl group (G)I-DLE recently hit another milestone on YouTube with their latest masterpiece “TOMBOY.”

Earlier today, Cube Entertainment announced that (G)I-DLE’s music video for “TOMBOY” has reached 100 million views on YouTube. It became their fifth music video to reach the milestone after “LATATA”, “Oh my god”, “HANN” and “LION”.

On March 14 at 6 p.m., the quintet returned on March 14 with their first full album I WILL NEVER DIE. On the same day, the music video for their title track “TOMBOY” was also released. It took them around 46 days and 14 hours to gain the massive number of views online. Notably, “TOMBOY” is now (G)I-DLE’s fastest music video to join the 100 million club on YouTube. In 2020, their track “Oh my god” logged around 93 days and 13 hours to achieve the feat.

Apart from its success on YouTube, “TOMBOY” has also shown impressive performances on the music charts. The song caused a syndrome by ranking first on the realtime charts and in the Top 100 of four music sites, including Melon, Genie, Bugs and Flo.

(G)I-DLE has also collected several records on various Billboard charts thanks to their latest comeback. I WILL NEVER DIE ranked 58th on the Global 200 chart. Additionally, “TOMBOY” took the 34th spot on the exclusive global chart and ranked 12th on the global digital song sales chart, proving its hot topic and global power.
