BTS is the K-Pop artist who gained the most YouTube subscribers in 2022

The ranking at the top of the list is BTS! According to K-Pop Radar, BTS’ YouTube channel BANGTANTV amassed over 800,000 new subscribers in March 2022. By the end of the month, the boy group had an average of 65 million subscribers on the video platform.

BTS’s YouTube channel hosts several types of content. All of their music is uploaded to the platform, along with their teasers. BTS also uses the channel to upload vlogs titled “BANGTAN BOMBS.” Videos of their performances, collaborations and challenges are also shared on the platform.

BTS created their YouTube channel on December 17, 2012, six months before their official debut. As of this writing, BTS’s YouTube channel has had 15,627,317 views.

BLACKPINK is the female K-Pop artist who has gained the most YouTube subscribers in 2022

Ranking in second place is BLACKPINK! According to K-Pop Radar, BLACKPINK’s eponymous YouTube channel attracted over 700,000 new subscribers in March 2022. By the end of the month, the girl group had an average of 73.2 million subscribers on the video platform.

Like BTS, BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel offers several types of content. All of BLACKPINK’s music is uploaded to their channel, along with the members’ solo releases. The girls have also uploaded different kinds of reality shows on the channel, including “BLACKPINK HOUSE” and “24/365 BLACKPINK.”

BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel premiered on June 29, 2016, four months before their official debut. As of this writing, BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel has had 23,113,940,103 views.

Besides BLACKPINK’s official YouTube channel, member Rosé’s personal YouTube channel also made it into the top ten. According to K-Pop Radar, Rosé has gained more than 320,000 new subscribers on her personal channel. By the end of March 2022, the “On the Ground” singer had reached around 5.6 million subscribers.

Rosé’s YouTube channel, “Rosesarerosie”, consists of vlogs and covers. She premiered on December 17, 2019, but she only started posting on March 18, 2021. As of this writing, her channel has had 36,201,098 views.
