Doha: Qatar Tourism has released a new song to celebrate the country’s National Day and attractions. The song showcases the country’s offerings through a music video that follows four young girls as they embark on a tour of Doha singing “This is Qatar!”. The video, posted on December 12, 2021, has garnered over 2.2 million views on YouTube.

The song was performed by Hessa Alneama, a Qatari who is making her debut. Directed by Salem Al Turk, the song featured a custom outfit by Qatari designer Dee Designs. The video follows the girls, supported by a cast of 24 young Qatari girls, as they walk along the Corniche, visit Souq Waqif, the Islamic Art Museum, take a dhow ride, watch a game in one of Qatar’s state-of-the-art stadiums. , and go through Aspire Park and Katara. It contains a message from Qatar to the world, inviting them to discover the destination and its offers; inviting them to look at Qatar from a new perspective – with childlike wonder.
