Tanzanian singer Zuchu hits 2 million YouTube subscribers 1st East African female artist

“Thank you very much, 2,000,000 million subscribers on YouTube. First East African female artist to reach this milestone! The 4th female artist in Africa.

“Notice, in just two years in the music industry. God is good. We can’t stop now, we have a life to live, a country to represent and a point to prove. Let’s keep pushing,” noted Zuchu.

Zuchu joins Nigerian singer Yemi Alade’s women’s league, which has also reached 2,000,000 subscribers on the African continent.

In 2021, the singer surpassed Nandy after hitting 1 million subscribers on YouTube to become the first female artist in Africa to reach such a milestone in 11 months.

She also became the first female artist from sub-Saharan Africa to record 1 million views on YouTube in 22 hours thanks to her song, Sukari.

She was officially unveiled as a WCB signer in April 2020 and set and broke her own records in just a few months in the music industry.

The Sukari hitmaker managed to amass over 100,000 subscribers within a week after being introduced as the newest member of WCB Record Label.
